Sky Sports promotes this Sunday’s WrestleMania 27 pay-per-view with predictions from Wade Barrett on many of the matches on the card-

Both the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight title will be defended in Atlanta along with The Undertaker’s undefeated streak in what is sure to be an explosive evening of action.

With so many matches so close to call skysports.com enlisted the help of WWE Superstar Wade Barrett to predict the outcomes of five of the the biggest bouts…

Here’s what he had to say:

The Miz (c) v John Cena
WWE Championship

WADE BARRETT: I think that one will be won by John Cena. I think The Miz has done well to hold on to the title for as long as he has. I’ve competed a lot against John Cena and I know how good he is and he’s going to raise his game for WrestleMania. So I can see John Cena walking away with the title for that one.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Just nine days before WrestleMania, chaos continued to run rampant on SmackDown as Wade Barrett brought The Corre their second championship!

Wade Barrett def. Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston to become new Intercontinental Champion
Just when it looked like Kofi Kingston was going to hit Trouble in Paradise on Wade Barrett, the English Superstar countered with Wasteland. Seconds later, the stunned WWE Universe looked on as Barrett captured his first Intercontinental Championship. WWE Tag Team Champion and fellow Corre member Justin Gabriel celebrated the monumental occasion by hitting a post-match 450 Splash of the fallen Kingston.

Long may the new Intercontinental Champion reign! Congratulations, Wade!

PITTSBURGH – With WrestleMania XXVII less than two weeks away, Wade Barrett and the rest of The Corre showed confidence in their appearance on Raw tonight in a tag team championship defense, but the threat of the Big Show and Kane would not be far away.

WWE Tag Team Champions The Corre def. Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov

WWE Tag Team Champions Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater prevailed over Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov and their Corre brethren joined in on a post-match beatdown of the opponents. However, their actions prompted The World’s Largest Athlete and The Big Red Monster, who were ambushed by The Corre on SmackDown, to enter the fray and destroy every Corre member in sight.

WWE.com has photos taken from Wade Barrett‘s tour of the UK and Germany! Check them out in the gallery!

The Lancashire Evening Post published a great new article interviewing Wade Barrett while on tour in the UK -

“Last year was a massive break-through year for Barrett. He made his debut in WWE on the Smackdown brand in February.

He quickly became embroiled in a long-running feud with Cena while he had two bitter losses to Orton when he competed for the world heavyweight title.

“It’s been a huge year for me,” said Barrett.

“I got to perform on some of the main events…a lot of the pay-per-views like Summer Slam, Survivor Series and TLC.

“I got to wrestle with some of the best wrestlers in the world like John Cena and Randy Orton.

“Those guys…they are very tough to wrestle with and they are at the top of their game for a reason. They are very experienced and multiple-time world champions, so I was really testing myself against the best when I fought those guys.”
