While on his European media tour last month, Wade Barrett spoke with Ash Rose of FourFourTwo.com about life with the WWE as well as his love of football and “all things North End” -

How about the Premier League, then? The company boasts a small select group of British stars – are they into their footie? “We had an American guy called MVP who was a big Manchester United fan,” says Barrett, “but he’s left the company. There’s Sheamus, who’s from Ireland and supports Liverpool. Drew McIntyre supports Glasgow Rangers. Mason Ryan, he’s one of the new guys, he’s a Liverpool fan. And, of course, William Regal, who claims to be a Blackpool fan – but he’s only really started supporting them since they got in the Premier League. So I hope they get relegated again, obviously. I’ve been hoping for a programme with him at some point, and maybe we could both wear our shirts to the ring!”

Bridgeport, CT – Wade Barrett and The Corre appeared on Raw tonight to explain their attack on John Cena and The Rock last week as an attempt to prove their might, but the inability to conquer their target led to blame and a moment of dissent within the group.

The Corre def. “The Apple”
Santino Marella enlisted three Superstar allies to exploit emerging cracks in The Corre once and for all. The Italian introduced “The Apple,” or Allied People Powered by Loathing Everything (The Corre stands for), consisting of Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry & Evan Bourne.

Unfortunately for the newly-formed foursome, The Corre took a bite out of their alliance, overcoming their differences to suppress The Apple onslaught.

Charlotte, NC – The Corre took on the very same team they faced only nights before at WrestleMania in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match, seeking a different outcome than the ending of Sunday’s battle.

Big Show, Kane, Kofi Kingston & Santino Marella def. The Corre

In an Eight-Man Tag Team 2-out-of-3 Falls Match, Kofi Kingston used a high cross body on WWE Tag Team Champion Justin Gabriel to score the first fall. Following a devastating boot to the face of Santino Marella, Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett hit The Italian Stallion with Wasteland, tying the match at one fall a piece. As Kane was preparing to finish Barrett with a chokeslam, The Corre’s use of excessive force brought the disqualification, giving their opponents the third fall and the overall victory.

The Corre was then treated to a post-match onslaught by their triumphant adversaries, culminating in a triple chokeslam on Ezekiel Jackson by Kane, Big Show and Santino.
