Philadelphia, PA – We LOVE to say “I told you so!” – and we said that the Barrett Barrage was thinking ‘rematch’! After Randy Orton’s fluke win over Wade Barrett at WWE’s TLC pay-per-view yesterday evening, the Barrett Barrage settled the score the next night on Raw SuperShow as the Philadelphia crowd got an old-school taste of ECW when Barrett put Orton through a table.

Wade Barrett disqualified after Barrett/Orton rematch; Orton goes through table

Barrett began the match with an attack on Orton with punches and kicks. After a strong beginning from Barrett, Orton came back with a near fall and the action soon went out of the ring, seeing Barrett bring the brutality by dropping Orton on the ringside barrier. Once the action returned to the ring, Barrett almost took victory with a near fall on a weakened Orton. After setting the Viper up for Wasteland, Orton escaped the hold and hit a back breaker on Barrett. However, once Orton went for the RKO, the English superstar thumbed Orton in the eye, causing the referee to call an end to the match, leaving Orton the winner by disqualification.

After the match was when Wade Barrett sought his true revenge. After attacking Orton post-match and leaving him lying in the ring, Barrett went outside the ring to obtain a table, which he then proceed to deliver a brutal Wasteland on the Viper – right through the table.

NOTE: Once again Wade Barrett was trending worldwide on Twitter during and after this match!

PNE FC Auction of Wade Barrett’s Donation
Posted On: Dec 19, 2011 | By: Tiffany | Comment

The mighty Preston North End FC (also known as Wade Barrett‘s preferred football club) is holding an Ebay auction of a donated t-shirt autographed by Wade himself and at least 18 other WWE Superstars! The auction ends on December 21, so get your bid in now!

You are bidding on a WWE World Tour 2011 t-shirt signed in silver pen by Trent Barreta, Wade Barrett, Kane, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger, Justin Gabriel, Rosa Mendes, Edge, Cody Rhodes, Tyler Reks, Ezekiel Jackson, Drew McIntyre and more (19 in total).

This shirt is being auctioned in aid of the Gary Parkinson Trust and was donated to Preston North End Football Club by WWE’s very own Wade Barrett in order to be offered as part of this fundraiser.

Gary Parkinson suffered a stroke in September 2010 and was left with ‘Locked In’ syndrome, so all of his former clubs have been holding a joint fundraising initiative ever since, in order to support Gary and his family through a difficult period.

Please bid generously to support a man who served several Football League clubs with great distinction.

All items offered via this account are for collection only via Deepdale Stadium, the home of Preston North End FC, but postage can be arranged (at cost) retrospectively if required.

Dig deep for Deepdale and support Our Hero and PNE by bidding on this excellent item!

Baltimore, MD – Rebound, re-focus, REMATCH! That’s what’s on the mind of the Barrett Barrage tonight, and here’s why-

Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett (Tables Match)

At least after WWE TLC, Wade Barrett’s only Christmas wish may be a rematch against WWE’s Apex Predator. The “Barrett Barrage” was unable to withstand the sting of The Viper’s venom in a Tables Match as Randy Orton dropped Wade Barrett through the pine with a jaw-dropping mid-air RKO.
The Tables Match was the perfect place for these competitors to settle the score and for The Viper to come uncoiled. In an environment that allows underhanded tactics, one of the Superstars could only earn victory in a very specific way, and no matter how fast the flurry of The “Barrett Barrage” came through, he couldn’t put Orton through a table. (Continue reading here or after the post)

How will The “Barrett Barrage” rebound? Will he still have his sights set on Orton? Find out on SmackDown, this Friday at 8/7 CT only on Syfy.

NOTE: Both Wade Barrett and “Barrett Barrage” trended worldwide on Twitter during this match!

Wade Barrett in Military Article & WWE.com’s ‘Power 25′ for December 17
Posted On: Dec 17, 2011 | By: Tiffany | Comment

Last week when Wade Barrett and other WWE Superstars traveled to Fort Bragg for Tribute to the Troops, an article was written up on the official Army website about the WWE’s visit. Barrett is quoted numerous times in the article, including here where he speaks on the excitement of trying out combat skills -

“We are out here for our annual ‘Tribute to the Troops’ show,” said Wade Barrett, a WWE Superstar. “At the WWE, we like to support the U.S. troops in all our endeavors around the world.”

Besides signing autographs and taking pictures, the Superstars and Divas also had a chance to try their hand at some Army training during their visit.

“It was a lot of fun throwing the live hand grenade,” Barrett said. “I was amazed of the size of the grenade versus the size of the explosion. I didn’t think something that small could create an explosion that big. It was definitely a lot of fun, and an experience I will keep with me a long time.”

Of course, no one’s trip to Fort Bragg is complete without some good airborne training.

“Jumping out of the tower was a pretty cool experience,” Barrett said. “It was great; a nice glide down as well as a real good adrenaline rush, and something I would definitely recommend.”

Check out the weekend in Fort Bragg and all of its fun in our Tribute to the Troops 2011 section!

In Other News: WWE.com updated its weekly Power 25 with Wade Barrett still within the top ten.

We hardly believe the English Superstar will regret a thing at all after Sunday at TLC!
