Noting the tenth anniversary of the passing of English WWE legend Davey Boy Smith, better known to most as the British Bulldog, Wade Barrett tweeted the following along with a photo from WWE Magazine‘s May 2012 issue:

In other news, the phrase “Dear Mr. Lazarou Esq.” trended worldwide again via Twitter this past Tuesday night when Barrett’s attorney Peter Lazarou, Esq. again fielded questions from fans.

WWE Superstar Wade Barrett is a supporting actor in the new WWE Studios project Dead Man Down. The film, a joint venture with IM Global, was one of the many films hyped by WWE Studios president Michael Luisi at last week’s WWE Shareholders’ Meeting.

Wade Barrett’s Twitter Statements Via Attorney

As noted on Wade Barrett‘s Twitter account this past week, legal counselor Peter Lazarou, Esq. has become the official liason for the moment of Barrett’s Twitter account. The Turnbuckle Post‘s Jay White recently penned an article on recent tweets from Barrett’s current intermediary as have other WWE news sites speculating on the tweets.

In the meantime, Barrett’s post-injury return to the ring is scheduled for this summer.

Wade Barrett Pays Tribute to Football Legend

Thanks to our ever-vigilant Beverly for the info about this special celebration for a football hero!

Here is a link for a short clip of Wade Barrett paying tribute to Sir Tom Finney.

Sir Tom Finney is an English Footballer who was loyal to Wade’s team Preston North End. He also played football for the English National Team.

April 5th marked the 90th Birthday of this Preston hero. Although not old enough to remember Sir Tom playing, Wade recalls his Fathers experience with the player and how he admires Sir Tom’s professionalism. It’s a great tribute, but what else would we expect?

This past Saturday Night 31st March 2012, Wade joined his fellow WWE Superstars to celebrate the careers of past superstars in what was a very emotional Hall of Fame Ceremony.

Looking every inch the Handsome Devil, Wade looked very relaxed and happy to be a part of this very important tradition.

A special thanks to Michelle for these photos of Wade Barrett at Raw SuperShow this past Monday, March 19th! As seen in the second photo, Barrett is sporting a protective covering over his left elbow which was injured a month ago. Barrett is expected to return to full in-ring activity this summer and will appear at WrestleMania Axxess twice during WrestleMania XVIII Weekend.

Wade Barrett on RAW tonight?

Some haters will probably scream like a camel who just saw two bricks, but people spotted Wade Barrett at the Philadelphia arena for RAW tonight.

A great strain has already been put on the nerves of the WWE Universe when John Cena‘s “car incident” (kayfabe, or not) was announced earlier. Will the Beavers Master (yeah, because when you build barrages, you need qualified workmen… Ok, I go out -__- ) add to the strain by taking the mic and throw some asinine statement of his own? After all, he already brilliantly demonstrated in the past that he doesn’t need notes on his wrist, or karaoke on the titantron to be able to verbally destroy his Cenation victim.

Yet, the probability is higher to see him take the microphone in order to support John Laurinaitis in the “General Managers’ war”. Remember the WALKOUT? His speech to Triple-H was already in favor of John Laurinaitis back then.

Of course, don’t expect him to fight tonight! If he ever steps in the ring, he’ll be most likely on the microphone, cutting a promo (just like Christian did after he was injured in Belgium on November 9). He can also be placed with the commentators, he has already proven countless of times in the past that he was excellent in that field too.

It’s not the first time that the WWE asks some superstars to get their gears ready in case they’d be used in the show… just to totally forget about them when the show starts. But considering the fact that Wade underwent a surgery recently, it would be stupid for the WWE to make him travel all the way to Philadelphia – thus exposing him to various types of risk – and not use him in the end. Yet, if it unfortunately was the case, some of Wade’s fans already announced on Twitter that they would RIOT!

NOTE: During Raw Supershow tonight, Wade Barrett trended worldwide on Twitter along with David Otunga and Chris Masters! Before his match, David Otunga clearly copied Barrett’s signature entrance – complete with jacket. Otunga then mimicked the pose of former WWE star Chris “the Masterpiece” Masters for the latter half of his entrance. The vast majority of the WWE Universe clearly was not impressed with Otunga’s attempt at flattery!
